BY MAHIMA SHARMA
A hurricane came with lessons,
Paving way for the Winds of Change,
Pounding my heart…blowing into my face,
Pushing me into a newer space.
Won’t look back…there is no view,
Leap to new Horizons, seems their cue.
With broken wings, but unbroken heart,
I muster my courage…that was shattered apart.
All set to tread a treacherous path,
Or perhaps to walk alone.
High time…I open my wings,
That will surely take me home!
Clouds of dreams chase me,
A hut of hope in the hills calls out.
Wings of ambition…wide open,
Aim is to perch where I belong.
O Life…I fly to you without Slings,
As Winds Of Change propel my wings.
The fear is gone…a thunder sets in,
A fire of determination…burns within.
Yesterday was mine…today belongs to me,
Tomorrow is unannounced, but isn’t far from my reach,
Coz, Winds Of Change have already set in!
